Gymnastics Classes

We offer a variety of classes from beginner to advanced.  Our focus is on good technique and form that are the essential foundation for every gymnast. Bad habits are hard to break. We have small classes with experienced teachers so that each student gets individual attention.

Students will be placed in classes that are appropriate for their age, experience and technique.  As with any activity, the more you practice, the better you get, so it is highly recommended that any gymnast take at least two core classes.

Whether your child has extra energy that needs a focus - or is a gymnast with some experience who needs to learn back and front handsprings, tucks and layouts - we have classes to fit your needs.
Beginner Gymnastics
This class is designed to give children the skills and confidence they need to move to the intermediate level of gymnastics.  Focus is on basic moves such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels and bridges, while developing a foundation of strength, flexibility as well as a passion for the sport.
Tumbling Tots
We offer an introductory tumbling class for children ages 3 to 5.   Kids are introduced to various movements including forward rolls, bridges and donkey kicks.  The goal of the class is to build the strength and focus needed to move to the beginner class.
Acrodance combines dance and acrobatic elements. Students learn acrobatic stunts, contortions, dance technique and partnering.  Students develop flexibility, strength and stamina and learn routines with unique choreography reminiscent of musical theater or Cirque du Soleil.
Intermediate Gymnastics
This class is designed to develop intermediate level skills and give children the strength and flexibility they need to move on to advanced gymnastics.  Focus is on more complex moves such as handstands, backbends, kickovers, handsprings, round-offs, walkovers and simple tumbling passes.
Advanced Gymnastics
It is assumed that students have mastered basic gymnastics skills and want to add a further degree of difficulty to their routines.  Aerials, round-off back handsprings, twists, more complex tumbling passes and basic choreography will be introduced.
Gymnastics for Cheerleading
This class is designed to help the aspiring cheerleader gain basic tumbling skills such as back handsprings and round-off back handsprings.  An understanding of basic tumbling moves such as rolls, handstands and cartwheels is helpful.
