Fitness Classes

We have heard many parents lament: "How do I get my child off the sofa and get them active?"  Children all too often sit too much playing on electronic devices or watching mindless entertainment.  At DPG, we believe that vigorous physical activity is an essential component of a healthy life -- one that finds the balance of mind, body and spirit.

Our classes offer physical challenges which teach your child to work to achieve goals, overcome obstacles and build confidence.  Most importantly, we get your child doing what they were meant to -- being active and learning new skills.  So let's put the electronic games and social media aside and GET MOVING!

Strength and Conditioning

This class is a series of drills and exercises designed to enhance stamina, strength, coordination and flexibility, primarily using calisthenics and mobility exercises.  The goal is to introduce the fundamentals of movement as well as develop a lifetime habit of fitness.

Conditioning for Cheer

This class is designed to help the aspiring cheerleader gain basic tumbling skills such as back handsprings and round-off back handsprings.  An understanding of basic tumbling moves such as rolls, handstands and cartwheels is helpful.

Acrodance

Acrodance combines dance and acrobatic elements. Students learn acrobatic stunts, contortions, dance technique and partnering.  Students develop flexibility, strength and stamina and learn routines with unique choreography reminiscent of musical theater or Cirque du Soleil.
